Gratis open access
A term used to indicate material that is free of charge to read but with no additional permissions granted to redistribute, reuse or modify. Gratis OA is not free of copyright of licensing restrictions. Users must either limit themselves to fair use or seek permission to exceed it (Suber, 2004). See also: Libre open access.
