Is a book processing charge the only way to make my books open access?

The book processing charge is one model that can be used to make a publication open access. However, there are many other models that can be used. In addition, funding is sometimes available to cover the costs of open access. For example, in June 2020, the Dutch Research Council (NWO) announced its renewed open access policy for academic books, which includes funding (NWO, 2020).
